Through the eyepiece display, there's a number 7 that's always there in the bottom right corner, when in manual mode, and I can't focus it (manual or auto) or take pictures. It records but very blurry and it can take pictures when in Live View but again, very blurry. When the lens is removed, the shutter still fires.
